The Farm

In the spring of 2021 I was searching for more. I had heard of cut flower farming before and was intrigued by the idea. That’s when I stumbled on the Floret website. The website lead to a trip to the bookstore that same evening, and within a week I was breaking ground for my flower farm at my parent’s acreage.

I never go into anything slowly, always jumping right in with both feet. Working in the dirt and growing my own flowers was the first time in a long time where I felt truly at peace, and where I could just be - be still without the pressures of the world. Suddenly, I felt like me again.

After finding my spark, I was hooked. In 2022 I tripled the size of my garden and began offering a few subscriptions. And now, here we are, still expanding, still loving life, and still hoping to bring joy to more people through my floral designs.

The farm wouldn’t be the farm without my very supportive parents and my little family who follow me on this crazy dream of mine and support me along my journey. My gracious parents allow me to use their land, and they and my husband help me run my otherwise one woman show. They all have been, and continue to be, an invaluable wealth of knowledge and help.
